It’s hard to put in to words how incredibly awesome Gina & Jonathan are. They were so relaxed and ready to party, and let me do whatever I wanted for their portraits. I could immediately tell it was a close group of friends that came in for the wedding, and most of them had known each other for 15+ years. Needless to say the dance floor was off-the-charts crazy! Such a beautiful day with awesome people, my job doesn’t get much better than this.
Luke came to me with a completely open mind and told me to do what I do. He knew whatever I’d capture would be awesome and wanted my true style. Thanks Luke, I had a blast!

I always enjoy working with siblings, especially twins, and savanna + sedona were no exception. I think they were a little apprehensive about being behind the lens, but that melted away pretty quickly and they fell right into being awesome models. We had a ton of fun exploring some completely new areas of Tucson, thank you Savanna + Sedona!
Austen and her sister hung out under a bridge with me and this is the result. These two could seriously be models! We then went around the University of Arizona to finish up, thanks guys!
I honestly haven’t laughed so hard during any portrait session, ever, and these fine ladies are proof that life gets better with age! When they first called to schedule their portraits they said they were a fun group of girls and they absolutely lived up to that expectation. Thank you for making it so enjoyable!
Cierra & Adam are definitely in love, and are high school sweethearts too! They were willing to try some funky ideas I had and we had a ton of fun roaming the UofA campus and in the downtown area as well. I love working with couples that are head over heels for each other!
A few years ago I photographed Mikayla’s sister’s wedding in Phoenix with my good friend Sam Hassas. When Mikayla called about creating her senior portraits, I was flattered that she had remembered me after so many years! She had some great ideas on some pretty cool locations, and I had a blast spending the afternoon in Phoenix, and in Scottsdale at the Arizona Biltmore hotel. New locations are always one of my favorite things for any session, thanks Mikayla!
I’ve known Don for a few years ever since I did some of his latest headshots. Don recently got engaged to a wonderful, sweet woman and they are seriously the cutest couple ever. We had a blast out in the Benson area, wish them congrats on their upcoming wedding!
Gus is a pretty cool dude and incredibly talented guitarist. He just won an international award for Classical Guitar and will be featured on NPR this coming February. He’s got some mad skills! These portraits were a bit dual purpose…senior portraits and future album artwork. Remember me when you’re famous Gus!
I can hardly believe that another year has come and gone, and I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to all of my clients, fans, critics, supporters, antagonists, blog-stalkers, and anyone and everyone that has helped me become a better photographer. I never knew that my business would become what it has become today. 2012 has been the best year ever all thanks to you. The ones who come back looking for more, who keep pushing me to try something new, to be better than I was the day before, and to those that offered the harshest critique. Thank you. Thank you all. Tyler is my last senior portrait for 2012 and I can’t believe the year is already winding down. I’ve had a great 2012 year and Tyler’s portraits are honestly some of my absolute favorites. We started with some casual baseball portraits, and then explored the downtown area and tried out some new things. This kid could be on the cover of a few magazines. Thanks Tyler!
Asher is such a cute, handsome little boy! I was honored to photograph his family portraits just a few weeks back. Ever since I knew my wife was expecting our first child, photographing these little kids has made me even more excited. Can’t wait for my own now!
I’ve known I was going to shoot Emily’s senior photos for about 4 years now when I first photographed her family. I photographed her sister’s senior photos over 2 years ago, and I know Emily was patiently waiting her turn. We made plans to travel down to her parents farm south of Benson, AZ. This part of AZ is one of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever seen. Large open fields with great scenery, and the weather is to die for. Thank you Emily!

I’ve been excited to post this session for a few weeks now. It was such a fun day and little Coco is the cutest little girl I’ve ever met. It gives me something to really look forward to with my own children! The Morris’ love to enjoy a good time at the park, relax with some amazing Frost gelato, painting and picnics at home. It wouldn’t have been a perfect day without bath time and some jumping on the bed. What a beautiful family!
I love it when seniors bring their friends (or boy/girlfriend) along, always makes it more interesting behind the scenes, and Natalie & Sean are a pretty darling couple. It’s almost as if they make a great “hollywood” couple together

It feels surreal typing this, but this is my last wedding of 2012 and it definitely went out with a bang! Heather + Scott had an absolutely gorgeous wedding at the most beautiful venue in all of Arizona. It was a family centric event with lots of emotion, surprises, laughter and fun. Thank you for allowing me to capture such a special event in your lives!
Kimberly + Phil are two awesome people that are REALLY in love. They feel like long lost friends. I had the pleasure of shooting their engagements in Nashville earlier this summer and they are seriously so much fun to just be around. I think their family agrees and everyone at this wedding knew how to party. Gonna miss these guys!
It’s been almost 2 years since I first photographed my first ABC book for Landon. I’ve done a few more since then, and now, Landon’s little brother Cade makes his debut. He’s a very independent little guy and doesn’t sit still for long. But, for the most part, I think he likes being in front of the camera. Each day that I would return to create more photographs, he seemed excited about it. Which photo is your favorite?
It was a beautiful day down in Tubac, and because of the awesome monsoon season we’ve had down here it was VERY green. Erika was very natural in front of the camera, thank you Erika!
