I had a really fun afternoon shooting Justin’s senior pictures yesterday. I felt totally inspired and jazzed about this new session and we totally rocked out some awesome images. Justin likes quite a number of different bands and probably goes to a concert once or month (or so he says) which I think is totally awesome. I only went to a handful of concerts when I was in HS . . . wish I went to more.
We headed downtown and tried a number of different places, but I think we totally nailed all of them. Justin’s sweet ride, his 03′ Mustang GT actually caused quite a stir . . . we were parked on the side of a road near a railroad line, and it didn’t dawn on me that being in front of a power sub-station was a bad thing. After about 25 minutes of photographing him and his car, a security officer came flying around the corner and yelled to us that we were not aloud to be photographing here and that it was a National Security compromise! My first thought was that this was a little far fetched . . . I was on the side of a public road, atleast 20ft away from the railroad, what could it have been? Apparently TEP or someone was watching us on the power-station cameras and called it in. The security officer was a nice fellow after a little explanation that we were not trying to photography the property . . . but it was still kind of funny in all.
Enjoy the pics! Thanks again Justin, you rocked!
