Sometimes us photographers get wrapped up working with our totally awesome clients, and don’t always have the time to do all the cool things available for us. I for one have always loved fashion, and would love to shoot more fashion, but I’m just not very cut-throat, like the fashion industry. I wish I had a mega large studio like all the awesome fashion photographers I’ve been acquainted with. But none the less, fashion is fun for me.
I was able to meet a local model that recently moved here from Germany, and we went out and shot some “fashion” style portraits, even though it was not the high-fashion that I like to look at. Redington Pass is an amazing area if you have never been there. The view of Saguaro National Monument and all the amazing cactus in that area is simply breathtaking. Combined with awesome weather, beautiful afternoon sunlight and a super model, you get good results.
We arrived at the location a little later than planned and didn’t have as much time to shoot than we would have liked. Super awesome location that I then used for another family portrait session the following day (future blog post to come!). I look forward to getting to know more of the local models and just shooting for fun. I need a break sometimes from all the hustle and bustle, a time to go and photograph without any stress or worries![]()
