Courtney + Robert

I’ve been busy as a Christmas elf on Christmas eve lately, trying to wrap up a lot of things before Christmas and New Years, there is still A LOT to do.  Lot of new plans for next year, new resolutions and goals and maybe even some new looks for the branding coming soon:)  For all of you that have been following my blog and my work over the past couple of years, thank you so much for all your support (and blog comments)!  I’m looking forward to some big plans for 2010 and I can’t wait to get started.  First day back at the studio today (which also happens to be my 4 year wedding anniversary!!!!) and already getting some new inquiries from what I imagine to be the new brides that got engaged over the holiday break.  Welcome to the blog:)

Not to steal any thunder from Courtney + Roberts amazing pics, but I am IN LOVE with their session.  They came from Philadelphia for the holidays and luckily we had time to fit them in for their engagement portraits.  New locations, new ideas, old locations, new ideas . . . . always new and fresh here:)Robert is a commercial pilot so we had to start at a small airport just next to the Tucson Airport, then meandered over to the airport for some more relaxed and fun portraits, and topped off this mountain of an engagement session at the University of Arizona.  Hard to go wrong with anything, but I wish we had a tad more daylight to work with.

I can’t wait for their wedding this coming October!!  Thanks again Cournety & Robert for bringing the fun and drowning the camera with awesomeness.

It was a small plane, I could barely fit in the backseat

Elaine Whitlock - Love the photos. Want them all. Especially love the subjects! Happiness always, Robert and Courtney!

Gaele Gillespie - So many great shots of Courtney & Robert; how fortunate that you’re their photographer, Spencer! Out of all of them, my faves are: #1 & #2 (the 2 airplane shots), #3 (sitting on the round seat in the airport shot); #6 (the “Ticketing” shot); #9-#12 (these shots show their serious & silly sides); #13 for artfulness of the shot; and #17 & #18(last 2 shots) because they show such heart :-) ! Thanks for giving us, family and friends, the opportunity to comment.

Steve Ward - I also like the piggyback shot of Courtney + Robert, but I also like the one of them rubbing noses under the ivy-covered arch.

Carol Hammerel - Great job Spencer. Love the piggyback ride picture! Really captures the essence of Courtney and Robert. Always having fun and laughing. Looking forward to the wedding shoot.
