It has been far too long since my last blog, but thats what happens when you reach the holiday season of an already really busy year, and you have lots of client orders winding down at the last minute.  It gets busy.  Then add in a whole lot of shooting over the last 2 weeks and it just compounds.  But it’s all thanks to my awesome clients, THANK YOU!

If you didn’t get a chance to see Abbi’s senior portraits, don’t forget to see them.  I also had the grand pleasure of working with her family.  They were all a lot of fun, extremely polite and generous, one of those families you are glad you get to know.  Thank you all again for such a great time!

ilene + vic // lodge at ventana canyon wedding

Ilene contacted not very long before the wedding as she was referred to me by some previous clients and friends of hers.  I’m SOOOO glad she called because these two can party like no other.  They are hopelessly in love with each other, and it was very apparent during the entire day.  They laughed together, smiled together, cried together and even danced and partied together.  Their traditional Jewish ceremony was also very beautiful.  So much symbolism and meaning, loved every minute of it.  Besides each other, there is only one thing that they love more, and that is their family.  They both have many grandkids and it was just all out fun having them all together.  Their reception was simply awesome as well.  Considering that I was definitely one of the more younger guests at their wedding, I don’t think I’ve seen a dance floor so lively and hopping in my life, it was incredible.  Combine some extremely talented musicians (live bands are AWESOME, one of the singers has performed at the White House before!), amazingly fun crowd, and a Frost Gelatto cart and you have one heck of a party.  THANK YOU BOTH Ilene + Vic!

abbi // senior

One thing that I LOVE about Arizona, is that we can shoot almost any day of the year, regardless if it is officially “winter” here.  I had a total blast working with Abbi.  She’s fun to hang out with, easy to talk to, enjoys horses and dance, and has a smile like none other.  I also think she kind of looks like Jennifer Aniston, but maybe that’s just me.  LOTS of photos below, thanks Abbi!
