heather + brady // wed

Spring weddings in Tucson are always just awesome, and nothing says “Tucson” like the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch: a dude ranch nestled into the Saguaro National Monument East (think of a forest, but except trees, big Saguaro cacti everywhere).  Cool, comfortable weather and a lot of really great people to be around, it really makes my job such an awesome experience even through a 12-hour day.  The girls started getting in the VERY early morning, I think before 6am, don’t know how they did it and last well close to midnight partying just as hard as everyone else.  Such a fun day, full of emotion, laughter and just great people.  Thank you Heather & Brady!

Savannah has a knack for fashion, and for hotdogs.  We even went to Guero Canelos (they have the BEST sonoran hotdogs out there) for some fun pics!  We all had way too much fun creating her pics.  Fun, demure and beautiful, this is Savannah.

Had another fun session with Lindsey at the TV Ranch and then some more in the downtown Tucson area.  She’s definitely one of the few senior girls that I have photographed that has a wicked cool car; I’m officially jealous as I always wanted a Camaro when I was in High School.  Fun, cute and colorful, this is Lindsey.

When Dea met with me about her senior portraits, she said she was very critical of photographers of herself.  No sweat!  If you have fun (which ALWAYS happens during my sessions), then your photographs will be awesome.  She told me she loved the nature atmosphere, and wanted to do some near water.  What she didn’t tell me was she wanted to be IN the water . . . that means I had to be IN the water too.  It was SO worth it too!  Casual, nature, water and cowboy hats; this is Dea.

I LOVE new locations, and Brooke had two new locations for me to use. I’ve been to both locations before, but never really to take some awesome portraits. Beautiful day, water in the Sabino Canyon creek, perfect light, this is Brooke.

Niki traveled all the way from Colorado to have her senior pictures done by me. I guess I’m doing something right! We shot in the beautiful Arizona desert, it never gets old I promise :) New, original, natural beauty, this is Niki.

Another AMAZING senior session with Jenna. Everything about this session simply rocked. I was able to try out two brand new locations, both of which will remain a secret . . . mainly because one of them is a private ranch that we had special permission to use. Let me say it was just AMAZING. The light, locations, senior (and her assistant) were just fab. Thanks Jenna!
