Luke came to me with a completely open mind and told me to do what I do. He knew whatever I’d capture would be awesome and wanted my true style. Thanks Luke, I had a blast!

Elizabeth is another class of 2013 Salpointe grad that wanted some vibrant colors, with a mix of urban and nature. She definitely nailed it on that one! Thanks Elizabeth!
Taylor is an aspiring model, and really has a natural talent to it! She wanted both nature and urban, and Tubac and Tucson can provide that all in one day. Thanks Taylor!
Maria totally rocked the camera, even though she probably thinks she’s camera shy. Sometimes it just takes a few minutes to warm up and then people open up and just totally surprise me. Thanks Maria!
I always enjoy working with siblings, especially twins, and savanna + sedona were no exception. I think they were a little apprehensive about being behind the lens, but that melted away pretty quickly and they fell right into being awesome models. We had a ton of fun exploring some completely new areas of Tucson, thank you Savanna + Sedona!
Austen and her sister hung out under a bridge with me and this is the result. These two could seriously be models! We then went around the University of Arizona to finish up, thanks guys!
A few years ago I photographed Mikayla’s sister’s wedding in Phoenix with my good friend Sam Hassas. When Mikayla called about creating her senior portraits, I was flattered that she had remembered me after so many years! She had some great ideas on some pretty cool locations, and I had a blast spending the afternoon in Phoenix, and in Scottsdale at the Arizona Biltmore hotel. New locations are always one of my favorite things for any session, thanks Mikayla!
Gus is a pretty cool dude and incredibly talented guitarist. He just won an international award for Classical Guitar and will be featured on NPR this coming February. He’s got some mad skills! These portraits were a bit dual purpose…senior portraits and future album artwork. Remember me when you’re famous Gus!
I can hardly believe that another year has come and gone, and I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to all of my clients, fans, critics, supporters, antagonists, blog-stalkers, and anyone and everyone that has helped me become a better photographer. I never knew that my business would become what it has become today. 2012 has been the best year ever all thanks to you. The ones who come back looking for more, who keep pushing me to try something new, to be better than I was the day before, and to those that offered the harshest critique. Thank you. Thank you all. I have high hopes for 2013!
Tyler is my last senior portrait for 2012 and I can’t believe the year is already winding down. I’ve had a great 2012 year and Tyler’s portraits are honestly some of my absolute favorites. We started with some casual baseball portraits, and then explored the downtown area and tried out some new things. This kid could be on the cover of a few magazines. Thanks Tyler!
I’ve known I was going to shoot Emily’s senior photos for about 4 years now when I first photographed her family. I photographed her sister’s senior photos over 2 years ago, and I know Emily was patiently waiting her turn. We made plans to travel down to her parents farm south of Benson, AZ. This part of AZ is one of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever seen. Large open fields with great scenery, and the weather is to die for. Thank you Emily!
Arden is one of those “models” that make it look easy. She definitely made my job easy and her photos show it! We were fortunate to have enough time for quite a few outfits and utilized some cool new locations! Thanks Arden!
I love it when seniors bring their friends (or boy/girlfriend) along, always makes it more interesting behind the scenes, and Natalie & Sean are a pretty darling couple. It’s almost as if they make a great “hollywood” couple together
Thanks for an awesome time!
It was a beautiful day down in Tubac, and because of the awesome monsoon season we’ve had down here it was VERY green. Erika was very natural in front of the camera, thank you Erika!
Libby is officially my last 2012 senior of the season! Even though graduation has passed, it’s better late than never to get some awesome senior portraits that will never go out of style. Libby brought a lot of personality to her images, and her wardrobe was so fun to work with! Love all the colors!
One of my last seniors for 2012, Melissa had a few ideas of her own. I’ve never had a photoshoot that involved fire as a prop! Thanks for an awesome session Melissa!
While this isn’t the first set of twins I’ve worked with, just the first identical twins. We had a blast shooting down near Sonoita and it was just an amazingly beautiful day. We would switch off from shot to shot between Danielle + Nicole, and it seemed to progressively get better as we went along. I just LOVE their photos! Thanks Danielle + Nicole!
It was a rather windy day, but at least it wasn’t scorching hot! I had a great session with Sierra out in the Vail area, and we finished in downtown Tucson with some areas that had lots of color. Sierra is definitely a natural, thanks Sierra!
I think Taylor was a bit camera shy when we started, but that changed very quickly and clearly had fun the rest of the time we shot
She has style, has a cool Jeep and knows how to have fun! Downtown is always a fun and changing backdrop for some great senior portraits. Enjoy!
Tatum is very natural in front of the cam…even from the very first minute she was just fun and easy to photograph! I always enjoy trying new locations as well, and we went to a place in the sabino creek where she would play when she was growing up…it didn’t even look like Tucson! Thanks Tatum!
Another fun senior session a few weeks back with Lauren! She is a talented dancer and really knows how to pull off that ‘vogue’ look well
Thanks Lauren!
Kyle is another sibling of a past senior I photographed. His sister was one of my very early seniors over 3 years ago! We went out to a very very remote location in Dragoon, AZ…about 20 minutes away from Benson near the base of some REALLY awesome mountains. It was a mecca for southwest-style locations, with an incredibly awesome dirt road that takes you there…dirt roads + a subaru = fun
Kyle is also an accomplished volleyball player! The final shot below involved ZERO photoshop
Thanks Kyle!
