St. Croix, USVI Photography

Of course a photographer travels to an exotic island in the Caribbean to photograph an amazing wedding with an amazingly good-looking couple . . . and then doesn’t share the “other” pics. I do enjoy shooting landscapes, but I really just enjoyed the beauty of the island and relaxed. Of course this was a once...

Mike - Sorry, I tried to read this, but the stupid vertical lines of soft text throughout your blog are just completely stupid. Get rid of that crap, it adds no artistic value whatsoever.

Great images though!

Dennis - Congrats! Cant wait to see what you think!

Isaac Lane Koval - Congrats on the new 5D mk2. Hopefully I’ll be able to get one next year.

Its coming . . . [UPDATE] It’s here!

Matt K. - Spencer,

I read your blog about the error 20 w/ the 5D mkII. I am getting that error, but (so far) only that error. I have not seen err 30 or 40 and have not experienced the LCD weirdness that you showed.

I got the 5D last Wednesday (Nov 26) and took several hundred pictures over the Thanksgiving holiday w/ no problem. However, today the error 20 message started and I can’t really find a pattern to it. It does not seem to depend on the lens or if I’m shooting a burst or a single shot.

I’ll call Canon on Monday and if I hear anything from them, I’ll post at http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/715176

If you hear anything from Canon, will you be updating your blog?

Thanks,

Matt

Matt Graves - Very Cool! What lens comes with the Kit? Enjoy your new camera!
