But Spencer, I just have to tell you that every one of your photos is deserving of so much more than an award. I’m still truly fascinated at how amazingly talented you are, your eye for all things beautiful is beyond comparison. (It seems that everything you capture is mesmerizing, even if to the un-trained naked eye it looks like a heap of garbage…) The memories that you create are cherished by everyone who has ever had the opportunity to work with you, and/or experience your talent. When looking at your work, we do experience that very moment. Even if we know nothing about your subjects; we hear the laughter, or we feel the warm breeze in our hair or our hearts flutter with joy. You have the life, depth and a creative spontaneity that rivals any competition. That, my friend, is the greatest achievement any photographer could ask for…no awards necessary.
