nelson family // portraits

I had the wonderful pleasure of working with such an awesome family just a few days before Christmas last year.  I love being able to surprise people with photographs that make them look AWESOME.  I’m pretty sure more than a few individuals didn’t think they were very photogenic, of which I always reply “everyone is photogenic”.  I truly believe it.  It just takes the right photographer (hint hint, subtle self promotion here!).  Suffice to say that everyone loved their photos, and I absolutely loved everything about photographing this family.  Their home is beautiful and provided a great spot for their portraits with easy access to the wonderful Tucson desert landscape.  THANK YOU for such an awesome time!

Dillon Family | Family Portraits in Tucson Arizona @ El Conquistador

I had such a blast with the Dillon family a week and a half ago, and have been a little slow at getting their pictures up on the blog. I was able to work with Brett and his Senior Portraits a couple months back, and now they all got together for a large family portrait. It was a beautiful day out with clear skies and nice weather, it couldn’t have been nicer. El Conquistador is the backdrop if you had not noticed. I must say that I laughed a whole lot with them, they are just an awesome family to be around!

You’ll see why I laughed a lot, they were just very spontaneous and fun to with! You’ll have to ask Brett what he was after with that last one . . .

Virginia Tech & Radford | Wedding Engagement Photography in Virginia

Although this week involved little sleep, long hours of flight and sore shoulders from hauling all of my gear through the airport, I would do it again in a heartbeat! I had a blast with Jennifer & Scott for their engagement photos, who are getting married this coming June. I might be a little biased as she’s my sis-in-law, but I think their engagement photos are the most romantic pictures to date :) Radford University and Virginia Tech University make great locations, and you can probably tell that Virginia is a bit greener than Arizona. Our family is really excited for them, and I’m just really excited about their photos.

I was surprised that the sun doesn’t set till around 8:20 there, so it was an interesting change! Enjoy . . .
