Marie has a seriously cool heritage and I was honored to be able to capture part of that.  We shot on the Pasqua Yaqui tribe in front of some murals that are culturally important to her family.  One of those murals also featured her grandmother, who contributed a great service during WW2!  We had more fun in the Tubac area for some other great portraits as well…thank you Marie!

Colleen is an extremely talented pianist, and I even got to use my own piano for a shoot!  We went to Sonoita to visit her family’s ranch house, and oh my Sonoita is sooooo beautiful!  Mountains, fields, everything was just absolutely gorgeous.  We even got to escape to some cooler weather and had a blast down there.  Thanks Colleen (and mom) for an awesome time!

Another really awesome session with senior Jayden.  Her smile is naturally bright, beaming and beautiful; like Miss America or something (that’s what I thought of when she smiled so much).  She’s a natural behind the camera and we had a great time making some really awesome photographs.  Some of my newest favorites of all time below!  Thanks Jayden!

It’s been a constant two weeks of senior portraits, with another 3-4 weeks already full.  I love working with seniors because each one is different, unique and original in their own way.  Katie wanted to try some fun portraits on the UofA campus.  Fun is definitely how I’d desribe them.  We finished off her portrait session with a more urban vibe.  Thanks Katie!
